World through my Dad's Eyes !!

"Kids now are much privileged than we were before. Let me describe few things to justify. Children now have beautiful dolls with a spacious rooms to play but we had Batukas (Aluminium bowl) ,aluminium plates and Pira (a wooden plank with two stands used to sit),and bottle tops as toys in a Khor (a type of cage) or Kokro (bamboo basket) or a Doko (a basket). They are fed with Cerelac ABCD or what ever but we were fed with chewed rice or porridge made of rice. Have napkins of different sizes but we were wrapped gunew ko thangna (a saree used by women to wrap themselves). We were to carry our pack lunch wrapped in batta (a small container of aluminium ) and now we have a variety of hot cases. We never carried water we drank from the running stream but have variety of water bottle to keep the water warm or cool. I envy."
